Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of microcrew. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you," "Customer") and Gustforward Pte. Ltd. (trading as "microcrew"; "we," "us"). The Terms apply every time you access or use the microcrew platform, including the dashboard at microcrew.ai, the API, and any voice or messaging features.
2. Service description
microcrew is an AI assistant platform that, on your behalf and under your control, replies to messages on connected channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.), places outbound voice calls, qualifies leads, and proposes / books meetings on your calendar. You configure the AI's persona, business profile, hard rules, and channel connections. microcrew operates as a tool you use; you remain responsible for outputs.
3. Eligibility and account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use microcrew.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it current.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- One account per business / agent. Sharing accounts to circumvent plan limits is not permitted.
- You may not use microcrew for industries we don't support (e.g. firearms, adult content, gambling, regulated pharmaceuticals).
4. Subscriptions, plans, and payment
microcrew offers tiered subscription plans (currently Starter, Pro, Team). Plan features, limits, and prices are shown at microcrew.ai/#pricing. We may add, remove, or modify plans with reasonable notice.
Subscription fees are charged in advance, monthly, in US Dollars (USD). Applicable taxes and local currency conversion are calculated at checkout by our payment processor (Stripe).
Pass-through API costs
Certain costs are billed to you at the rate charged by upstream providers (Twilio per minute of voice, WhatsApp per business-initiated conversation, LLM per token, ElevenLabs per voice-synthesis credit). These appear separately on your monthly statement. We do not mark up pass-through costs.
Overage
Each plan includes a daily reply quota and a monthly cold-call quota. Usage above plan limits is billed at the per-event rate disclosed in your plan details (e.g. cold-call top-ups on Pro and Team are $0.60 USD per additional call). You can set hard caps in your dashboard.
5. Trial period
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial of the Pro plan. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, you may select a paid plan or your account will be paused (read-only). We do not bill you automatically without explicit consent.
6. Cancellation, termination, and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to your data for 30 days after cancellation, then we permanently delete it (unless you request earlier erasure).
We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods. Pass-through API costs already incurred are non-refundable in any case.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach (e.g. abuse, fraud, prohibited industry use, repeated TOS violations). We will refund unused subscription fees in such cases unless the breach is fraud-related.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use microcrew to:
- Send spam or unsolicited messages in violation of applicable law (e.g. Singapore Spam Control Act, US TCPA)
- Cold-call numbers on the Singapore Do-Not-Call (DNC) Registry without lawful basis
- Impersonate any person or entity falsely
- Harass, defame, threaten, or stalk any individual
- Distribute malware, phishing content, or illegal material
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract microcrew's source code or proprietary data
- Use the service in a way that overloads or impairs our infrastructure
- Resell or sublicense microcrew without an explicit written agreement
8. Voice cloning and AI-generated content
If you choose to use voice cloning, you represent and warrant that:
- The voice samples you submit are your own, or you have explicit written consent from the voice owner
- You will not clone a voice for the purpose of deception, fraud, or impersonation
- You comply with applicable jurisdiction laws on biometric data and AI-generated voice content
You are responsible for all content the AI generates on your behalf. The AI follows your configured persona, business profile, and hard rules — but you should review its outputs and intervene where appropriate. microcrew does not edit, review, or take editorial responsibility for AI-generated replies, calls, or booking decisions.
AI disclosure
You agree to follow applicable laws on AI disclosure. In particular, if a lead or client asks whether they are speaking with a human or an AI, you must not configure microcrew to falsely claim to be human. microcrew's default behaviour is to disclose its AI nature when asked.
9. Customer responsibilities
- Obtaining all necessary consents from your customers, clients, and leads before adding their data to microcrew
- Maintaining compliance with your professional licensing body (e.g. MAS for financial advisers, CEA for property agents)
- Configuring hard rules and reviewing AI outputs in accordance with regulatory obligations of your industry
- Backing up critical data if you have specific retention needs (we provide standard backups but recommend you export periodically)
10. Intellectual property
microcrew owns the platform, including all software, design, branding, and the AI orchestration logic. You retain ownership of your data, your voice samples, your business profile, and any content you upload.
By using microcrew, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your data and content for the sole purpose of providing the service. This license terminates when you cancel your account.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
AI-generated content can contain errors. We do not guarantee accuracy of AI replies, call outcomes, or booked meetings. You are responsible for reviewing critical outputs before relying on them for regulated decisions.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, microcrew's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service is limited to the fees paid by you to microcrew in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless microcrew, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or damage arising out of (a) your use of the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law; (b) content the AI generated under your instructions; (c) your failure to obtain required consents from your customers or leads.
14. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Singapore in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). The seat of arbitration shall be Singapore. The language of arbitration shall be English.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree to a change, stop using the service and cancel your account before the new Terms take effect.
